Yesterday one of my best friends was hit by a car on her way to the seven 11 right across the street from my school. According to the eyewitness account my friend Lena who was with her gave me. Megan was bleeding out her ears, she could talk, was concious and was breathing but she couldn't feel her legs. The man who hit her and stopped and talked to them and followed the ambulence when they took her to the hostpital. He wanted to talk to her mom but the nurses wouldn't let him. She was transported via helecopter from Huron Valley hospital to U of M last night. She was diagnosed with a broken femur and a broken vertebrea in her neck. Poor Megan is going to have to wear a Halo the majority of the summer.
School seemed so different. Even though Megan has OTC in the morning, it still felt weird. Maybe because I knew that Megan wasn't going to be there...that she isn't for the rest of the school year. I mean, she's one of my best friends....she could have been killed by that car! It seems so surreal when you hear about something like that happening to a complete stranger..you feel bad about it...but when its your best friend. Its so unbelivble.
I have Pops concert for Choir tonight...Megan was so excited about it too...Its going to be so weird and sad without her there. I mean this girls smile could light up anyones day. Shes soo cute!!! She didn't deserve any of this..I'm just happy the guy who hit her was a kind soul...not a mean selfish bastard.

Hey! That really is Freaky! Is she going to be OK? It's good that the guy was nice. My aunt got hit in her car (in front of my house, might I add), and the guy was yelling at her. Actually, now that I think about it, she bumped him, but because of the road work. But still, she had her two kids in the car and I think he even cussed at her. Well, I hope she gets better. I'll pray for her!
